This introductory course has been designed for employees who are new to the public service, or who are interested in learning more about fair service delivery. Regardless of your role, this course will provide some key elements of fairness to support you in following fair processes when making and communicating decisions to the people who access your services.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
1) Describe and apply the principles of administrative fairness using the concept of the Fairness Triangle
2) Make and communicate decisions fairly in different public service contexts
3) Identify and demonstrate some key components to good public service delivery
The course will take you approximately one hour to complete, but you don’t have to complete it all in one sitting. There are learning activities throughout this course, and we encourage you to complete the course in order to maximize your learning.
